Design Approach
Every project begins with listening. We take the time to understand how you live, what you value, and how you want your home to feel. From the architecture and materials to the furnishings and final details, every decision is made with purpose—creating a home that feels personal, cohesive, and effortless to live in.
Phase 1:
Discovery & Vision
We begin by getting to know you—how you live, what you are drawn to, and what you hope your home can become. We also study the architecture, setting, and opportunities within the space to establish a clear vision for the project.
Phase 2:
Interior Architecture & Design Development
We translate that vision into a complete design direction through space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, custom millwork, and architectural details. Each element is considered in relation to the whole, giving the home warmth, continuity, and a strong sense of place.
Phase 3:
Project Coordination & Oversight
Throughout design and construction, we coordinate closely with the project team to protect the integrity of the design and keep the process organized. We review details, guide decisions, and address questions as they arise, always with respect for your time and investment.
Phase 4:
Furnishings & Custom Design
We develop the furnishings layer through furniture, rugs, decorative lighting, window treatments, artwork, and accessories. Each piece is thoughtfully sourced or custom-designed for its proportion, comfort, function, and relationship to the architecture.
Phase 5:
Procurement, Installation & Completion
Once selections are approved, our team manages ordering, custom production, freight, receiving, inspection, delivery, and installation. We oversee each piece from purchase through placement, then complete the home with the final layers that make it feel finished, personal, and ready to enjoy.
